The FCCC is a children’s treatment centre serving Peterborough, City of Kawartha Lakes, Northumberland, and Haliburton County. FCCC provides therapy services that assist children who are delayed in their development to gain the skills they need in everyday life such as walking, talking, and activities of daily living.
Age Group: Depending on the service; ranges from 0-6 or 0-19 years; up to 21 years for Augmentative Communication.

The HHFHT is a regional team of health professionals including doctors, nurse practitioners, RN’s, a pharmacist, a social worker, and more, that provides a full range of primary health care to residents of the Haliburton Highlands.

Transition Age Youth Program provides specialized transition planning for youth funded by the Ministry of Children and Youth Services (MCYS) and Ministry of Community and Social Services (MCSS).
Eligibility: Youth must have a diagnosis of an intellectual disability.
Age Group: 14-18 years.

Provides case management and advocacy support to adults who are developmentally disabled. The goal of this program is to assist adults with developmental disabilities who are living on their own in the community without significant and/or appropriate supports to live as independently and safely as possible.

Helps children and youth with Autism Spectrum Disorder develop skills in the areas of behaviour management / emotional regulation, communication, social/interpersonal, and daily living. Provides education to parents/caregivers on how to apply ABA strategies to help their children maintain or generalize these skills.
Eligibility:Youth must have written confirmation of ASD diagnosis.
Age Group: 0-17 years.

KPAS provides Community Outreach services, psychological and family support services to people with an Autism Spectrum Disorder as well as accommodation supports. Depending on the Ministry mandate the community outreach program may serve both children and adults, or only children and adolescents up to 18 years of age.
