We welcome referrals from parents, caregivers, teachers, and other professionals with client’s verbal consent. Youth 12 years and older can self-refer directly if they choose. A child or youth does not require a diagnosis to access our services. We have a standard external referral form available to our Community Partners that can be emailed or faxed at your request. - Please note that in situations where there is a joint custody arrangement, consent from both legal guardians is required to access counselling/therapy supports for children under 12.
Quick Access/Single Session
Our Quick Access Clinic offers confidential single sessions to get children, youth and families the help they need promptly ( from same day to 1 or 2 weeks). Sessions leave families focusing on their strengths and with a plan for next steps . Sometimes one session is all a family needs. If further support is needed a referral to additional Point in time services or external services maybe made. Sessions can be arranged by calling 705-457-5345 or emailing email@example.com. Quick Access sessions take place in Haliburton or Minden offices. if you need alternative arrangements please speak to the intake worker.
