The Attendance Centre provides support and counseling to youth 12-17 years of age who are mandated to attend by the Courts. Participants attend for up to six months or a maximum of 240 hours of service and are engaged in a range of supports and interventions from life skills, anger management, developing social skills and helping in literacy work. Referrals generally come from the local probation officer but they also can come from the youth mental health court worker as well. Quarterly reports are sent to the Ministry of Children and Youth Services, Youth Justice in Kingston.
