We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work within territory covered by the Williams Treaties, on the traditional lands of the Mississauga Anishinaabe and the unceded lands of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg people. We are deeply grateful for their sharing of the land and for their continued stewardship of the lands and waters.

Haliburton  County Youth Wellness Hub

Haliburton County Youth Wellness Hub – providing an inclusive and welcoming space for all youth aged 12-25 in our community.

Broad range of services and supports

The Haliburton County Youth Wellness Hub has been co-created with Haliburton County youth. Many community services have come together with leadership from Point In Time and Haliburton Highlands Health Services to support youth in developing this collaborative, multi-use space.

Services and Supports available at the Youth Hub include:

  • mental health & addictions
  • peer support
  • primary care, sexual health, and trans positive health care
  • care coordination
  • employment & vocational supports, including The Lift Program (Individual Placement and Support)
  • income supports & housing help
  • other responsive services as needs arise
Drop-in and other programs build resilience, protective factors and give youth a place to belong and to call their own. These integrated resources provide quick and timely access to a broad range of supports.

The Youth Wellness Hub is located at 12 Dysart Ave., in Haliburton. It’s just down the street from the Haliburton Junction Skate Park and Arena and is within walking distance of all of the youth-serving schools in Haliburton.
