We respectfully acknowledge that we live and work within territory covered by the Williams Treaties, on the traditional lands of the Mississauga Anishinaabe and the unceded lands of the Algonquin Anishinaabeg people. We are deeply grateful for their sharing of the land and for their continued stewardship of the lands and waters.

Youth Hub suspending face-to-face contact

March 19, 2020

Due to the current state of emergency in Ontario, we have suspended face-to-face contact in an effort to keep everybody well and prevent the spread of the COVID-19 virus. Our in-person services at the Haliburton Youth Hub have been cancelled until further notice. If you are in need of Primary Care, our Nurse Practitioner can reach you by phone. If you are seeking mental health and addictions supports, our counsellors are still available by phone or zoom. If you need either of these services, please call or text our cell phone at 705-306-5199. It will be monitored between the hours of 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday, or email haliburtonhub@pointintime.ca and we will be able to put you through to the appropriate person.

We want to ensure that youth are all best supported during this time.  Currently, counsellors will be available from 8:30am-4:30pm Monday to Friday by phone.  If you are in need of mental health support outside of those hours, you can contact Four Counties Crisis at 866-995-9933 or Kids help phone at 1-800-668-6868 or text CONNECT to 686868.
